Gary’s fine arts expertise and sensitivity to the needs of art collectors has resulted in a number of interior design projects for many of California’s prominent private collectors. Gary Hutton’s formal and academic training in art, sculpture and interior design, along with his affinities for popular culture and hand craftsmanship, are all evident in the pieces in the furniture collection. Consequently his furniture tends to have a clean, sculptural quality together with a quiet luxury and inventive use of materials. Particular attention is focused on comfort as well as the sculptural appearance of each piece in the collection.
